| What is a picture library?
A picture library contains images (photographs or otherwise) that can be hired for a specific time for use in any number of media. For example: to illustrate an article or an advertisement or to illustrate a presentation. The cost of hiring a picture is dependent on its final use. Pictures can be despatched physically as transparencies or prints or electronically via e-mail or on disc. You can order pictures by first calling our office (+44 (0) 20 8539 1763) between 09:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (GMT/BST), or else faxing (+44 (0) 20 8558 5446) or e-mailing (mail@londonseen.com) your picture request. We wll then contact you promptly to inform you if your request can be met and arrange delivery of a selection of images should you require them. You can now order pictures on-line ! Click here to visit our Picture Search pages. You can search our on line database by either area of London or by subject and then directly e-mail your request. We will then inform you of the costs and despatch the images chosen to you. Can I buy prints for my home/office? You can buy prints for the home/office. Please e-mail or fax us with your request. Prices start at 50 GBP for an unframed black and white print. (Shipping extra). Can I contribute to the library? We are primarily looking for experienced photographers who are intrested in photographing London and aspects of London life. Have a look here for further details. How do I submit pictures to the library? Please do not send us any unsolicited material.
